GS-911 being sold to new owner

I purchased a GS-911 WIFI and used it once, it worked great.
I no longer have a R1250GS and sold the GS=911 to another gentleman with an R1250GS.

My question is, before I hand the GS-911 over to the new owner do I need to do anything in order for him to use it?
What will the new owner have to do so he is able to use it?

The new owner will simply have to reregister it via the normal process with Hexcode
