I have an ezCAN which I am trying to use to power and control a retro fitted police oil cooler fan to my R1200RT.
Currently I am using John at tinderboxarts setup shown here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIlFzUg_cPUThe control is done via the ezCAN as a light circuit, with a long press of the info button initiating subsequent presses adding 10% power to the fan.
Pressing 11 times to get the fan at full power is way too fiddly and distracting to be done out in traffic and I would prefer a simple toggle on/off mechanism.
Is there any alternative that anyone might recommend (e.g. is the turn signal cancel button usable?)
(My wish is to have it controlled by engine temperature but ....)
