Gear indicator goes blank on a 2017 F800gsa after changing gearing

Well, reset all the adaptations…….had high hopes…..but unfortunately the problem is still present  :( :(

Back to the drawing board. Wondering if anyone knows a shop proficient at reprogrammiing BMW ECU’s. Needs to be someone that really understands the code. I beleive nulling out the wheels speed vs RPM check will fix the problem. May have a negative impact on traction control, but honestly speaking, I rarely want it…..often time when it does kick in, I wish it was not there. I ‘d rather handle that on my own using my right hand and clutch.

It might be worth putting the oem gearing back in and riding it to make sure the problem is for sure due to the gearing change.
Also there is a setting that I found for a F700 GS but I don't know if it will come up for your bike, it was in:

Engine Controller / Service Functions / Online Service Functions / BMSK Configurations / Configurations
Then chose from the Wheel Radius drop down menu.

Also:
Vehicle Electronics / Service Functions / Online Service Functions / ZFE Configurations / Configuration
Then choose from the Wheel Circumference drop down menu.
