iPad with GS911

I have an old outdated PC running windows 10  I got a new iPad. I have GS911 WiFi
If I got a usb adapter and plug the 911 into it and the bike will I have full capability just like I did on the pc or will it treat it like the iPhone with just limited functions

The iPAD is as per the iPhone, basic functions inbuilt to the GS911 & service functions via cloud services

Full local off line functionality requires the PC & GS911 Diagnostics Application using WiFi or USB connection

Hi, you could try the following:
Either.
-Create a hotspot with your phone(either android or iPhone),
       then connect both the gs 911 WiFi and your tablet(the tablet should connect by itself to your own iPhone if it’s on the same Apple ID) on the same hotspot.
Or:
- simply create a hotspot on your iPhone, make sure you save the WiFi network on the gs911wifi so that it will connect by itself when you switch to infrastructure mode. No need for the tablet.

thanks ill try that. Ive always heard IOS does not play well with the GS911
