on the 2003 to 2007 and I suspect the TC bikes too - there is a different simpler way to reach the DWA module

I guess if no top box on a GSA, on top might be sensible
but for the GS I think its half the work from beneath ?

having just done the job as per the video here I suspect the BMW method would be from below - almost no effort to drop the mudguard to reach the alarm box and lots of room - only reason I'd consider going from above would be if I didn't have a top box and I had panniers rails on the bike

to make my day (after my GS911 tells me they are 5.8 volts - with 14.7v from battery support running diagnostics - and they are 16 years old) I find the ones I replaced are at 3.37v each and the new Varta ones are 3.27v each - great

his video below is missing two fiilister screws inside the front of the tool tray under the main seat (I suspect you just need to loosen these two 6 turns or so)
