S1000RR 2015 transmission caibration fail
« on: March 30, 2022, 02:03:07 PM »
After running the transmission recalibration routine shift assist pro stopped working.

The error log reported voltage too high on the shift sensor. Reading the adaptations showed 0V on all gears including neutral. Re running the clibration couldn't recover it and i had to take the bike to BMW who got an error saying adaptations for gears 4,5,and 6 could not be read causing the shift assist sytem to stop working completely. They recovered it by running the calibration on the BMW diagnostic tool after which shift assist worked fine.

I've run the calibration routine several times before ithout any problems, its a track bike and i find that regular calibration helps keep shifts smother.

The software and firmware on the GS911 are up to date (March 2022) and i always connect with USB to avoid possible WiFi dropout  connection issues.

Anybody else had this problem? Is there a way to recover using the GS911 if it happens again?
