25070 Internal Control module error - too much slip of rear wheel.
(1/1)

Hi
For approx. one month ago I started getting ABS faults, and fund that the gears in my final drive had broken and the ABS sensor was completely set off by metal splines.
I ordered a brand new final drive at BMW Berlin (Through a Danish dealer).
I mounted the new final drive and ABS sensor, and it all worked fine for approx. 1 week.
Now I get this error: 25070 Internal Control module error - too much slip of rear wheel
The fault is not present now. :'( :'( :'(
I have therefore had the ABS sensor out for checking it, but there are no metal splinters on it.
When the fault occurs, the speedometer stops working and the needle drops to 0 km / h, after a while the needle works again.
Sometimes the error comes after 30m and other times after 40km.
I don't know where to look, please help
Info about the bike:
BMW K1200S from 06' with 1 gen servo assist ABS.
Attached is the log from GS-911

Silly question probably. I do not see that you mention that you cleared the fault codes after replacing final drive. Assume you have?

Hello
Fahrgestellnummer WB10581A66ZR81668
Modellbezeichnung K40 (K 1200 S, K 1300 S)
Produktionsdatum 09.09.2005
33 11 8 530 087 Winkelgetriebe schwarz for bikes to 08.2006
34 51 7 666 436 Raddrehzahlsensor
I would double check the new configuration, because this fault appears if the crown wheel has a different pitch for the ABS sensor.
Otherway its the wrong sensor
Good luck

The bolt, carrier, piston, and trigger are all the same as the RAZz why chance it when you can get a WASR or a NPAP for less with better known quality.

Possibly the new final drive is the wrong one, and has the incorrect ratio for your bike?
