Tire pressure senders
« on: March 04, 2021, 06:07:02 AM »
2018 1200GS TFT, 14,000 miles.  Strange problem with my tire pressure senders.   I took the bike for a ride today and at first the pressure seiners measured +0.0 for both.  Then they measured what seemed to be right, +.5 front and +1.4 rear, but throughout the whole ride they never changed.  I stopped and power cycled the motorcy cue. The rear came back but the front never came back online.

The motorcycle is 3 years old with little mileage so I don't think the batteries are gone in the senders, but its. very strange how the sensors are working.

Can I reset the sensors with the GS911 and see if they start working again?

Thank you!!!

James

If your 2018 model is like my 2007, the displayed values will not change.  Instead, they are corrected to 20C (68F).

Karl, I think you are right but it’s strange how both front and rear stopped working correctly at the same time. Also the fact that the rear came back a bud the front is not not reading is strange.

I read in another forum that you can reset the senders with the GS-911wifi and I don’t think they meant reset the senders but re-pair the senders.

I am wondering if that is a possibility and if anyone has seen this before.

There are no fault codes.

Thank you.
