F850/750 GS Oil Temp Reading

On my F850GS under Engine Controller Real Time Values I get a oil temp reading of 2980 deg F. I'm interested if anyone gets a plausible oil temp reading. If so, does anyone know where the oil temp sender is located? I've found a part number (13627580635) for a sender that apparently is used for coolant and oil temperature and a location in the thermostat housing but haven't found a location for use as an oil temp sensor.
