2003 R1150RT done 141,000 Km

Help please. Aproximately 8 months ago, had a “knock” on right hand side at fast idle (Choke operation). Traced to airbox and eventually to worn throttle body shaft on right hand side. (0,3 mm play on bellcrank side). Machined a new shaft and replaced with new Glacier bushes. Synced the throttle bodies with home made manometer. Bike idles, starts and performs well. (No TPS on right hand TB).

Have a 1200 Camhead and use the 1150 only for local run around. Approximately 2 weeks ago, did an Autoscan with GS-911 and got the following message…
Throttle Position Sensor, Internal Fault on Upper or lower Potentiometer Slider.

Cleared the error and have since then travelled approx another 800 Km. Did another Autoscan this morning and error was back. Cleared, performed the TPS check on the GS-911. It was exactly in the middle. Started engine, let it idle a while. Revved up up few times and the error message did not reappear. Would like to prevent unpleasant surprises. Where and for what do I look?
