R1200RTP
« on: April 28, 2018, 02:50:15 PM »
Vehicle is BMWR1200RTP (2010).
Given the RTP has slightly different firmware, is the GS911 going to be compatible and allow me to fully interrogate and clear faults?
The current faults are "Sensor low tyre pressure" (there are no sensors on this vehicle, the fault appeared after changing tyres)
ABS fault, general caution, service light and ASC fault.

The answers should be in the function chart https://www.hexcode.co.za/products/gs-911/function-chart

Thanks Wayne,
nothing in the chart that points to R1200RTP at all, can I log my VIN number with HEX to see if it is compatible with GS911?

I would expect any 2010 model to be compatible, I suspect your fears are unwarranted, lodge a support ticket with Hexcode if you are still concerned

I have a 2008 RTP and it works fine, also lists the goodies it was installed with when it left the factory. Now it has been reduced to a basic bike, all of the functions work. The RTP's had Lead Balanced Frames and High ZFE computers. I have installed an alarm on mine and got the heated seats to work (via dealership).
