Wayne: Thank you for your response. First, the good news: I deleted the GS-911 app off my iPhone, and then reinstalled it off the iTunes App Center. I plugged the GS-911 in my bike to get the data that is at the end of this post, and... HEY! It worked! I was able to access my service warning reset! It worked!
This is great. I was trying to reset the service warning on a pal's R1200RT, using my iPhone and the semi-crappy Wi-Fi at the Republic, WA rally grounds, and I figured that must be the problem. Then, yesterday I tried it on my bike, using my excellent home Wi-Fi, and it still didn't work. Bummer. I did get the service warning reset function to work using my Surface Pro and my home Wi-Fi, but I hate it when something doesn't work.
