Voltage differences

(1/1)

RPG:
When I select Real Time values for my GS911 (PC version), it shows the motorcycle's voltage around 9vdc, but when I measure at the battery, with a good Fluke meter, it reads a correct 13.00 vdc. As such, the low GS911 voltage won't allow me to test the Throttle position sensor or some other tests.
Bike is a 2004 R1150RT.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hello

Think it's time to check the voltage right directly at the engine ecu.
Don't forget the ground connections at the throttle body and under the
battery holder. Maybe here is the fault located.
Hope this helps.

Thank You. I'll do that.

Is the Syvecs/Life Reference voltage output regulated to exactly 5v, or is it 5.1 like on some GM ECUs?  Doing some math on sensor linearizations and this is a variable.
Thanks,
