Reseting TPS adaptations for 2017 BMW S1000RR
« on: May 30, 2018, 01:18:31 PM »
Hi all,

New to this group, I just bought the GS911 and need to reset my adaptations for the TPS, I do not have this option, all that shows up are 2 adaptations, transmission and another one that is not TPS. I have heard the GS911 may not have very good support features for this year bike, any help much appreciated, I have an engine light due to this adaptation not being reset. thank you

Welcome to the forum Marc!
On the function chart overview you´ll see which features are currently supported for your bike - might be that you´ll have to wait for a software update: http://www.hexcode.co.za/products/gs-911/xbmsmp1

Good information, thank you! Any thoughts on when an update to the amount of adaptation resets would arrive to support this bike better? I realize that may be tough to answer, thank again!

Hi Marc. The reason why we are currently unable to support those functions, is because we have not yet been able to find the relevant technical information needed to implement them. We are actively researching this, but have so far only hit a lot of dead ends. This is why we are unable to give any dates at this point, unfortunately.
