Help with fault codes Idle Actuator & O2 Sensor
« on: October 10, 2020, 04:41:12 PM »
Would be grateful for some input on what my problem might be. 2014 F800GSA. Went on a week long trip last week and had progressive throttling and idling problems. Started with the rpm's remaining very high in the 3,500's between shifting. After a couple of seconds it would slowly drop down to around 2,000. This lasted for several days of the trip. On the final day the rpm's would jump up and down between 1500-3500 when in neutral, and would stall occasionally. When I got home I hooked up the GS911 and reset the adaptations and it seems to be running much smoother but I don't think the problem is solved. Idling is now stable but rpms still around 1400 at rest. Here are the two fault codes I received. Thoughts?

Good Morning from the West Desert USA.  I need help please.  K1600, 100,000 US Miles.  Been getting an engine light.  very random.  I thus far replaced all six plugs and spark coils per BMW shop recommendations.  I replaced the Battery, cleaned MAF sensor and replaced air filter.  I did order two O2 sensors should have them by this weekend.  When I use my GS911 everything seems very normal except once in a great while both Lambda go from on to off then I get the misfire.  It is almost always coils 3 and 5.  I have a difficult time believing the new coils are bad as somedays the bike runs a full day without any engine light but other days the engine light flashes and it stays on all day even after I reset it goes off then back on again.  At stop lights is sounds liek it is running on just a couple cylinders but clears a few minutes later.  ONE QUESTION:  on the GS911 report the LEAN ANGLE is -9?  Is this normal?  It does not very much.  pretty much stays at -9 even when the bike misfires.  It that an O2 sensor link or camshaft timing sensor?  Thank you in advance
