Older GS-911 won't connect to GS-911 download utility?

Update.  It doesn't work on my laptop so I used my son's desktop and voila! Updated to 2017 version and connected fine. However, connected to my laptop again and it's a no go. I'm resetting my laptop now to see if it works. Also I downloaded the Android app from the download page of hexcode (FREE) and installed on my phone instead of buying the app on Google play. Saved $14. Woohoo. Now I don't have to carry around my old blackberry phone for the mobile service. Just need my laptop to work so I can get it out in my garage to do a full service.

Well at least it's your laptop and not anything important. Try removing the program and reinstalling from the site. I use win 10 and have no problems so I,m sure it's just finicky computer crap.
