Cylinder Head temperatures
« on: August 09, 2016, 06:40:58 PM »
I've been logging data on the GS911 for a few rides the past week and have noticed that the temperature recorded by the gs911 is the same for both cylinder heads, regardless.   I've about 150 miles of logged data and there is no difference between what the GS911 reports for temperatures for cylinder heads 1 and 2.    I expect them to be very similar, but not identical.   There is not a single sample in the 150 miles of data where the values are different.

Is this normal?  It seems like it is not normal and the gs911 is substituting data for one of the cylinders.   I can try to use a heat gun on one side of the bike but then I just thought of that and am not near the bike.

GS911 reports temperatures for cylinder heads 1 and 2  and there is no difference.
Is this normal?

YES!
There is only one sensor mounted on the right cylinder. BMS-K uses this value for both sides.
