TPS values

(1/2) > >>

Kenny:
while resetting my service reminders I was having a look at real-time values and was surprised to see the value for the throttle position only going up to 50% and then back down with a negative value back to zero.
Bike runs fine ??

schuppi:
Hello,
switch on ignition, don't start the engine :), then turn the handle several times from
full closed to full open.
Cycle ignition off>on , go to real time values, select TPS, signal will be shown from 0 > 100%.
If not, there is something wrong with the sensor.

Kenny:
yep, tried that  :'( made no difference.

Alexm1:
Kenny, both the ignition and the kill switch need to be on to perform a tps reset, I have been caught out leaving the kill switch off. Were both on?

Kenny:
yes, both definitely on.
I will need measure the resistance across the tps pins tomorrow and see what the readings are.
Seems strange how the bike runs very well even though it looks like the tps is telling the ecu that it thinks i am closing the throttle after half way??
