TPS adjustment on a K1200LT
« on: May 19, 2017, 07:53:37 AM »
I need to adjust my TPS because it had been removed.
Problem is: the bike has been synchronised before, so the stop screw to change the idle has been changed.
Tis means adjustment with the GS911 wil give falls reading.
Jos from GS911 Benelux wrote about a workaround for this (as in the link below), but didn't explain the procedure.
Is there someone who's nows how to proceed this workaround?
Id send an email, to GS911 Benelux, but got no response so far.

"Just follow the steps in the software.
At a certain point you have to dismount the idle actuator (the black box
with the servomotor, fixed with three screws; take care not to bend the
mounting plate).
Next step is adjusting the TPS sensor. But the screws of the TPS are hard to
reach at the LT.

There is one condition: if you have changed the idle RPM with the stop screw
to get it higher, the zero point of the TPS is wrong and you can't set it
correctly anymore with the GS-911
, though there is a workaround for this.

Best,

Jos

GS-911 Benelux"
