GS-911 V1603 (March 2016) software updates available
(1/1)
Francois Cilliers:
Hi everyone
GS-911 V1603.1 is available for download as well as software updates for the GS-911wifi interfaces.
The major changes in this release are added service functionality for BMSE controllers (this includes Husqvarna bikes) and cloud service functionality for BMSC and BMSC II controllers. Husqvarna owners can now reset their service reminders using either the GS-911 PC application or the GS-911wifi web interface.
Read the news item on our website for the full change list and some screenshots.
We've had some reports that the Norton anti-virus reputation-based detection engine is lately marking our new software releases as a virus - this is a long standing issue with low volume software vendors (like us - our user count is in the thousands - not millions). You can read a bit more about it here:
http://www.hexcode.co.za/products/gs-911/support/faq/why-does-my-anti-virus-program-antivir-tell-me-there-is-a-virus-in-your-windows-software.
If you run into this problem just add it as an exception and notify your AV vendor that it is a false positive. You can check that the digital signature on the installer and .exe is valid and signed by us to verify that it is safe.
Thank you.

I'd like to download it, but your server has been down all day. ??? Just got my new 911 wifi yesterday and really need to get it working to figure out what's causing my ABS error.

This past weekend we had a server outage that is unrelated to the previous one we had in April. I have posted a notice about it here: http://forum.hexcode.co.za/forum/index.php/topic,1118.0.html
