Getting started

Please excuse my ignorance but I am just getting started with the GS911 and have a couple of basic questions. I connected the 911 to my computer via the USB cable and it is recognized by the PC. Do I also need to connect my PC to the network or is the network connection for the 911 to the PC only if I do not use the USB cable? If this is the case is there an advantage to connecting the 911 via the network as opposed to the USB?

Hi Roy,

Assuming you have the latest WiFi enabled GS-911, you can connect to a Windows PC - Bike via the USB (using the PC software) or via the WiFi (for which you need to download the WiFi utility).

There is o difference is usable functionality between the two, only the method of PC connection.
