No check engine light - No codes
I have been hunting this problem for over a month and stumped.
Was getting oxygen sensor #1 out of range. Disconnected each sensor, threw code but made no difference while running. Replaced #1 sensor with used eBay coil. No more codes. Problem still happening.
Replaced all six coils. No difference. No coil code. Pulled plug on each coil and check engine light came on for each with a code. Cleared all codes. Reinstalled old coils. I opposite order. Problem still happening.
Pulled all six plugs - all look the same. Reinstalled in opposite bank. Problem still happening. No change
Problem is definitely with cylinder 4, 5 or 6. I held my hand over exhaust and could feel it missing (hunting) on right, starboard, side.

I shared a couple docs on my google drive:
Lambda spreadsheet with cylinder temps
Video with audio of engine missing
Pics of spark plugs. All look similar

Thoughts?
Anything I can scan or capture to help diagnose?
By the way:
Cylinder numbering; #1 is port/left/shifter side
Oxygen sensor location; #1 same as #1 cylinder

Any ideas from anyone?

Hi Pawkee
Apologies for the delay. That sounds like pretty rough idling, that could be the bike missing, but considering all the troubleshooting you've done - I would start with resetting the adaptations first, then idle/ride the bike to operating temperature. If the problem persists thereafter, run the injector test on all 6 injectors, if they've built up carbon and dirt over the years, you should hear if one or more is not pulsing similar to the rest.
Kind regards
Ruan

Ruan,
Thanks for the reply.
I was planning on pulling all the injectors and cleaning them. I have an ultrasonic cleaner and ordered the device to pulse the injectors while submerged. I was then going to spray carb cleaner through the injector while pulsing the injector to see if there are signs of a clog.
If they show signs of a bad pattern or no improvement after reinstalling them, then I will send them off to be professionally cleaned and bench flowed.
I think I will try your idea first. Much easier. 😎

I reset the adaptations, then idled the bike to operating temperature. The problem persisted. I then ran the injector test on all 6 injectors. They all sounded the same.
I recorded new video holding the microphone up to each exhaust. Definitely more pronounced on left (1, 2, 3) side. Uploaded to my google drive as K1600GTL_stuttering.mov.

Thoughts?
Is there some realtime values I can capture that may give me some idea what the problem is?
