Hello

Possible forgot to reconnect the flap motor?
Check the lines, wiring harness and plug connection to the unfiltered-air flap controller.
Check wiring harness plug connector to DME
Check the unfiltered-air flap controller.

After rectifying the fault, reset the mixture preparation adaption values.

Ich habe es versucht und es ist tatsächlich so, wie du es gesagt hast, danke fürs Teilen.

Did sas delete on my ‘24 s1000rr and have ran into my first possible issue. Koeo, I get a clicking from under the tank like a gear skipping. I did relearns on everything, throttle grip, throttle bodies. But it still clicks, I hit the throttle blade with my finger when I was putting sas plates in would that affect some calibration? Question is, what might that clicking be, and can I permanently remove the 3 codes it gives me. Can’t upload screenshot but here’s the best I’ve got rn

I was going to try the M animation, but instead a GS animation is on 3/4 of my animations  :(
Can be possible that my dashbord should be update witha new software version? or can be possible to be done in my year/ model.

Thanks

When you put in code 0x21FD31 you have to drop the 0x for it to generate a Hex code.

Thanks for the quick reply!
I did go to bmwfault page but didn't have an error code that was valid.  All I had was the GS-911 fault code, where do I get the bmw error codes from?
What is the gap for camshaft position sensor?

thanks

Hello
21FD31
Check wiring, wiring harness and plug connector to camshaft sensor.
Check wiring harness plug connector to DME
Check camshaft sensor.
Remove camshaft sensor and check for contamination (metal abrasion).
Check sensor gap to camshaft.

21FD32
Here is the same error description

Emergency operation with limited vehicle dynamics.
Significantly reduced maximum engine speed.

Information can be found at >> https://bmwfault.codes/

GS-911 / 2016 R1200GS Fault code 0x21FD31 and 32 Camshaft sensor

I have a 2016 R1200GS that went into "Engine in emergency operation mode" (Yellow triangle and engine icon displayed).  The bike was running erratically (quit running often, running on one cylinder, low power).

GS-911 showed fault code 0x21FD31 and 32.  I couldn't find any posts in this forum on this fault code.  Only a couple of Youtubes on replacing the camshaft sensor.  I have the Haynes Service Manual on this bike.  Is describes how to replace the sensor, but not how to test it.
My question is does anyone know how to test the sensor (voltage or resistance)? Or any other solutions to this fault code.  I really don't like to just through parts at a fault code.
