General Discussion / BMW R18 Bagger aux lights TFT icon
« Last post by Fleabag on Today at 06:15:47 AM »
The bagger is pre-wired for aux driving lights. I assembled the parts and installed the same lights as the Transcontinental, which plugged into a connector behind the fairing. The bagger also has a two-function mode switch that will turn the aux driving lights on or off. The Transcontinental has a light icon engraved on this switch, but on the bagger, there is no engraving switch but the switch does work to turn on the aux lights.

I'm looking for assistance in enabling the bagger's TFT display to show a green light icon when the aux driving lights are turned on. The Transcontinental already has this feature, and I was hoping it would magically work on the bagger. I assume something needs to be programmed or turned on, and I was hoping the GS911 could do it.

Amazon takes its customer service very seriously, and I was very comfortable purchasing best sex dolls companion from there.

General Discussion / Re: Hand brake and foot brake labels backward
« Last post by GregM on May 06, 2024, 02:38:12 PM »
Hi Ruan, I've not been on here since the end of 2022 so only just seen your message.
I've just updated to the latest 911 software and about to do a brake flush so will post on what I find.
I solved my ABS issues with a new replacement ABS module. My fault as I only ever flushed the fluid twice in 15 years of ownership :)
Expensive fix but its so good to have the bike like new again.

ezCAN / Re: Deutsche or Superseal connectors?
« Last post by GlynH on May 05, 2024, 07:36:57 PM »
For the second time in 5 minutes I'm replying to my own thread to close it!  :P

Seems the 3-Pin ezCAN connectors are called MT connectors(?) but to me MT connectors will always be a different type used for fibre optic connections.

The 3-Pin connectors fitted to the Schroedie illuminated roundels/emblems are called Superseal 1.5 and so I purchased a set comprising 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6-pin male & female connectors, male & female pins, seals & the red pin retainers for this and future jobs.

The pins can be crimped by changing the dies in my ratchet crimping tool and I have now made my own harnesses up using these connectors sheathed in black braided sleeving with the ends tidied up with heat shrink. Good job if I say so myself!  ;)

ezCAN / Re: Not connected to Internet?
« Last post by GlynH on May 05, 2024, 07:21:19 PM »
In the absence of a reply I'm closing this thread down as its now resolved.

Despite many attempts over the last 10 days I was not able to resolve the software reporting; 'Could not download new software. Please check your internet connection and try again.'

So what did I do to update from 2306.6 to 2402.4?

I logged on to www.hexezcan.com on the same laptop seconds after getting the warning above and downloaded the new version and updated manually.

It then updated my ezCAN firmware from 9 - 0.28 - 0.95 - 0.57 to 9 - 0.28 -0.108 - 0.57 and all seems good.

Still don't know why the Hex software refused to download its own newer version even after reporting it was available... :o
