Title: GS-911 Error on S1000RR

Dear all,

I take instead of the original speedometer the Star Lane Davinci S Dashboard on my RR . When I connect the GS-911 in conjunction with the Davinci I get an error message that gives the controller no feedback .
Once I connect the original speedometer it works. Any ideas??

Hello,

so it is. Aftermarket dashboard which only reads and displays the bike's CAN-BUS datas.
I think there is no way to read any fault codes of your new racing dashboard.

Schuppi is right.  The aftermarket Instrument cluster does not seem to be compatible with BMW's diagnostic protocol... and when you tell GS911 to connect to the instrument cluster, it is expecting to find a BMW instrument cluster... and when it does not find it, it will report an error that it could not communicate with this cluster!
