Wow. Will see tomorrow how the ESA test functions, I have an issue with that...

I'm also very interested in trying out this new ESA functionality.  I have 2005RT, and the rear ESA hadn't worked sinced buying it used 1.5 years ago (I didn't know better when I bought it).  A couple months ago I applied a full 12V from the battery across the motor and "unstuck it."  It seemed to have functioned correctly since.  Upon receipt of my GS-911, though, I ran all the diagnostics and the only real fault I could find was an ESA error.  I didn't have time then (and haven't since) to see if it seemed to still be functioning or not, but in any case, I'll be interested in trying to use this new functionality on it as soon as I can...

post a full autoscan, so we can see the exact bike model etc, as well as the full fault code description...

then do an ESA calibration...
