There are a number of posts on Advrider documenting that the oil pressure switch was deleted from the F800GS engines in 2013 including a chap who was replacing his older engine and moved the oil pressure switch from his old engine to the new engine.

The Gs911 wifi unit was purchased last summer and the scan was done with cable to a Pc short after. The firmware was the available at the time of the scan.

Hello,
oilswitch 12617686501 only mounted on F 800 GS (10/2006 — 07/2012).
Can't find any switch in parts locator.

Part 12617686501 was found on the following vehicles:

    K25 (R 1200 GS)   (12/2002 — 12/2012)
    K25 (R 1200 GS Adventure)   (03/2005 — 07/2013)
    K25 (HP)   (08/2004 — 11/2008)
    K26 (R 900 RT, R 1200 RT)   (11/2003 — 06/2014)
    K27 (R 1200 R)   (11/2005 — 07/2014)
    K28 (R 1200 ST)   (05/2003 — 11/2007)
    K29 (R 1200 S, HP2 Sport)   (11/2004 — 07/2010)
    K21 (R nineT)   (01/2013 — 08/2016)
    K40 (K 1200 S, K 1300 S)   (04/2003 — 09/2015)
    K43 (K 1200 R, Sport, K 1300 R)   (03/2004 — 07/2015)
    K44 (K 1200 GT, K 1300 GT)   (11/2004 — 10/2010)
    K71 (F 800 S, F 800 ST, F 800 GT)   (12/2004 — 07/2012)
    K72 (F 650 GS, F 800 GS)   (10/2006 — 06/2012)
    K73 (F 800 R)   (12/2005 — 09/2014)

Others, or newer ones such as the liquid-cooled ones, do not have this switch.
There are plugs to measure the oil pressure. Excample for the 1250s engines,
the temperature sensor will be removed.
I can't tell you why the oil pressure switch shows up in the GS911 when it's not there.
Perhaps a cross-model BMW software that includes everything

Wow, great community.  Thanks for the replies.

Yeah seems like its something my bike doesn't have but thinks it does, like phantom pain in a missing toe.
