Same issue on 2020 R1250RT with new software release (No response from the controller)

However the Satellite Body Controller (XFSA) continues to report correctly with no issues.

Ride safe -

General Discussion / Re: Anyway to change the GPS on TFT??
« Last post by helen01 on June 07, 2025, 08:44:46 AM »
For me, driving safely is paramount. If the GPS integrated into the TFT is too simple, does not provide enough information, or is difficult to see, it is better to use an external phone. But using an external phone is distracting and unsafe. Therefore, being able to display Waze or Google Maps directly on the TFT screen is extremely necessary, especially when traveling long distances or entering unfamiliar areas. Accurate traffic information, early warnings about speed, or dangerous spots that Waze provides are indispensable. Car manufacturers should prioritize integrating popular and user-friendly applications rather than stubbornly keeping their systems.

I think I managed to get the coding done. Because I have a EU bike, my bike already got the option for DRL in the menu to turn on and off the DRL but it did not function the right way thanks to BMW restrictions. First I performed the retrofit which removed the hole DRL option I already got. Then I performed another DRL coding because I was not happy at all that the first coding removed the entire option. After the second coding I went to the DRL menu and now when I enable the DRL's I can see the icon in the bottom of the screen.

I can not test it because its raining right now. I assume that the DRL is working. Am I right that you have to turn on the engine to get it work?

Hello Sitt

don't worry. that comes up with the latest software update.
The Body Controller (high) is listed here, even though your motorcycle is equipped with the XBCL Lite.
I don't know the reason for this.
I think the software will be changed shortly.

Same story over here on a 22' RR. I am wondering if it is still possible to do some coding work on that particular module. For example to do the DRL coding the tool changes settings inside the body controller module.

Has anyone had experience of fitting the CoLight D09 pro?

They have main, dipped and amber daylight running lights and it's a 4 wire system. Any help appreciated

I don't know what was "fixed" all I know is there was a new software released today that had the option to enable the daytime running lights on some newer model bmw's. I updated my gs911 and then when connecting to the bike and trying to code the drl's it came back with an error and locked up. I had to restart the software and the bike and when I did it had all kinds of errors and was in UK english with menus that I never had on the bike b4. First error was "alarm system failure". I was able to restore the bike back using a previous backup and so far that fixed my bike but the DRL option will be a no go for me till they fix whatever it is. I uploaded all my Debug logs as they requested. I haven't heard back but I would figure they are looking at the logs as I am not the only person who has had an issue.

22' S1000RR, EU bike. Maybe the EU version is the problem?
Do you mean they fixed the wrong update? I will take a look at that later today. I am afraid to do the DRL coding again.
