Title: Display Kilometers instead of miles..
Post by: charliehorse on December 06, 2016, 11:08:35 AM
Hi All
I was wondering does anyone know if it is possible to change the dash display to kilometers from miles using the GS-911?
I imported the bike from the UK where they use miles.
I believe it is possible for a BMW dealer to do this.

I would now say myself....no.
Had a look through the menus last evening and cannot find anything that would do that job.
I can put in metric values in Tools but this obviously does not update the dashboard display.
I can get it done at next service (bike is still under BMW warranty) as I believe its a small job for the dealer.
I have the Nav V so I will use that in metric for now.

Without specifying which model the bike is no one would be able to assist you  ;D

I would fully expect there to be an ability to change from miles to kms on that model but it may be still on the development schedule for the GS911

I would email Hexcode and ask the question of them

Got a reply from Hex.
Sure enough, this is in the pipeline for the future.

Yes it is what I expected but better for them to advise you, adds a bit of cheeky pressure on them as well  ;D
