Title: ABS service functions
Post by: juanfaro55 on November 20, 2018, 11:39:01 PM
2005 R1200gs  tank is off after rebuilt ABS installed no faults found other than understandably the fuel pump.

All ABS service functions immediately abort saying a brake was actuated.
real time data shows the rear brake switch to function normally , front brake while it functions normally i.e. light and servos, shows not actuated when I actuate it. Removed the front switch cable and shorted it, same result. Any ideas?

First I would try to delete all fault codes, cycle the ignition, read again after waiting some seconds.
If the fault returns, please read the real time datas pressure in brake circuits front and rear, only
with ignition on. Max value ~ 25 bar

so I finally threw in the towel, sent it to the BMW shop.  their machine shows all switches actuated when actuated and it passed the bleed test. I got it back this morning and just for grins i hooked it up to the GS911. same issues with brake test aborting and still showing front brake switch and abs switch not actuating when they are actuated.
Wondering if my 911 is defective???

Turns out that a friend with an  identical bike  who uses a pc tried my gs 911. All was well while on downloaded pc program when he used web front end he encountered the same issues I had. HEx code has labeled this issue urgent. Happy new year y’all

I received an email from Mornay in August advising me that an update that was issued sometime in April should have resolved the code issue. I have not verified this but will try to check  very soon.

Thanks for the replay. Updated mine today before I used it, same problem. Using the app on my phone, maybe that is the problem.
