Hi there..i have 2012 1200gs adventure, today abs light stay on, checking with gs911, give this fault and codes..what is solition
23979: pressure sensor, rear wheel circuit
Thanks for helping and advice

Very difficult
The pressure sensor is built into the ABS block and cannot be replaced with workshop equipment.
However, repeated venting and flushing of the unit may help.
The use of DOT 4 must be guaranteed.

Are you sure you are working with a 2012 bike? That code comes from the servo assisted pumps that were discontinued in 2006. 2007 onward do not have the pressure sensors.

Jughead,
Sorry if I improve you, the newer Conti-Teves ABS is also equipped with those sensors.

I was referring to these sensors:

Yes, naturally the newer ABS pumps will also have pressure sensors, but I have never seen one failing. What I was getting at was that the error code he is getting is typical of the older pre 2007 servo pumps.
