Title: GS-911 WIFI Hung Up!! Please help!

I have a brand new GS-911 WIFI serial #GS1-000-087. I connected it to my Windows machine (running Windows 7). I had downloaded the latest utility from the Hexcode site. I believe it is 1408.1. The software told me that a firmware update was needed which I ran. It started fine then just dumped out and said that the firmware update failed. Now when I plug my GS-911 into the USB port, the power status LED rapidly flashes red and yellow and I can't get the unit to mount in either the Windows or Mac environments.

Sooooo...what should I do?

Probably get a more accurate and faster response from the this

I just landed in ZA after my 50 hour trip back to ZA.. and Kobus is about to land...

Fear not, we will get you sorted.. all devices can be recovered if something went wrong... Let me move to the HelpDesk and take it from there...

Same thing happend to me. So whats the fix?  I cant get my driod app to work now

I found the best response (and results) were after contacting support at:
 support@hexcode.co.za  (always supply your complete GS-911 Serial#)

The Hexcode team is excellent!

By the way...since I had my initial issue with the GS-911 WIFI, the unit has performed without issues since. Great device and some of the latest version of the IOS app is great as well.

Good luck. I'm sure you'll get your issue sorted out.

Suggest you lodge a support ticket but out of interest what version of firmware in the unit ?, lock ups are rare even in the beta's we test
