Title: Samsung Galaxy Tab S
Post by: Wes Patterson on May 20, 2015, 12:30:39 PM
Hi all, I'm setting up a Samsung Galaxy Tab S for use on the road with my GS911 bluetooth.  I cannot get the Service functionality to work.  Did I miss something during the install?
Thanks, Wes

Service functionality is only in the PC-version of the software.

Any possibility that this will change in the future for tablets?

Extremely unlikely with the old (yellow) GS-911.

The plan is to later this year bring service functionality also to mobile platforms by using the cloud functionality and the new (red/black) GS911WiFi:
In 2015 we will progressively introduce the GS-911wifi CLOUD functionality.  Using any device with a browser and wifi (Android phone/tablet, iPhone/iPad, MAC, etc.), that also has internet access, you will soon be able to connect to the HEX CLOUD.  This will give you the same SERVICE functionality that was previously limited to the Windows PC version.  Be sure to keep an eye on this evolving functionality! The above is my understanding of the matter but the best is probably to ask the staff (http://www.hexcode.co.za/contact-us-1) about it.

Disappointing but thanks for the update.
