Hi Peet.  I tried to download the new update, but it stopped loading after 30 seconds.  Win10,  I later figured out the download will not work if the gs911 i plugged into the k1600.  Once I unplugged it the download was successful

Hi

I did the updates with no problem but just one question if I may?

I had previously set the service reminder WAY ahead ie 2024 and 20000 miles from now maybe -  but it wouldn’t let me alter them in the custom menu anymore.

Any thoughts? TIA

Hello Dr Rich.  I prefer to sent my reminder out years as well.  I just use the odometer setting to tell me when I need an oil change.  It is a PIA to hook up each time to change the dates.

I just did a reset on the wife's 2015 F700 GS and there now is a option to disable the dash warning for distance and/or time, both were pre checked off for me. My R1200 didn't have that option though but would be nice.
