 I recently bought GS911 WIFI but the cloud service function is innactive.

I'm using D2D with an ipad mini cellular and the cellular is ON and the device is online(3G) when connecting to 911.

Why does the cloud services is innactive?

Hi and welcome!

In order to use the cloud services you have to work on the AP mode.
Your currently selected D2D only works for the embedded emergency functions.
Please let us know if you have further questions.

I have the same issue...pardon my ignorance...but what is AP mode?

The GS-911wifi allows you to either communicate to another device e.g. a smartphone via the "D2D" -> Device to Device mode
or
by using the "AP" -> Access Point mode to communicate within a network + connection to the internet.

Via a network you have the opportunity use the cloud services.

You change between both modes by pressing the button on the GS-911wifi and the LED will show the selected one.

This and more details should be described on the manual which comes with the GS-911wifi - was that missing?

Thank you for clarification. I have the manual, but didn't realize that was what you were referring to. I thought PA was a setting within the GS-911 menus. Thanks again.
