How to log 30+ minutes worth of data on GS911 Wifi
kobus:
We should probably list this under product specifications... but the GS-911wifi has 4GB of storage space available (some space is for internal storage, less than 50mb).
So there is enough space for logging many hours of data, however very large log files might not be practical to download and process.

Well, just to to it because I could and see what happens, I logged a 475 km trip today, 5 hours of recording with 2 stops comes to 1.4 mb of data
The wear rate and food intake for the rider in sub 10c night riding conditions were more of a problem than the size of any data file :(
The bad news Kobus is I left debug active and it generated an 8.1mb debug file, now I need to find some reason for a programmer to have to look into it ;D

Thanks Wayne. Of course, as with string, it all depends on what you log and the sample frequency.

Have some mercy, we would like to go on 475km bike trips every now and then as well!*
*We'll be at BMW days in Garmisch-partenkirchen after a trip through the Alps. :D

I told it to log everything as I just wanted to see it I could break it 8), I failed, it won :(, the time slices should be 1sec, will look at the data later
Yes well your little trip will be better than mine, I had to get up early catch a train to my mothers place, 475 kms and 8 boring hours on the train to swap into riding gear and then ride back down the main highway home at night in the cold (actually enjoyed being out anyway which just proves how silly I am), 17 hours to recover the bike after leaving up there recently, long day
EDIT,
I indicated the wrong sample rate initially, with all parameters for 650gs selected the sampling is approx 1 sec intervals and yes they are all there in the log
