Fault codes with no description
« on: February 16, 2015, 10:16:14 AM »
On my R9T I have the following codes:
- P2849
- P2723
- P271B

The GS911 doesn't have a description for them though??

Hello Ian,
if your bike was built for the US-market, maybe these codes are related to the Diagnostic Module Tank Leakage.
P2849 Fuel Pressure Sensor Min
P271B DMTL Heating Signal

Better you send a ticket to hexcode.

There is an activated charcoal filter mounted to clean the tank ventilation.
Fuel damps will be sucked if the BMS-K asked for it.

 :) 8)Ok,
that's the point for me to stop here.

Any warning lights, issues while driving?
I found this P-Codes on a BMW-Mini site,  BMW-Motorrad-Codes look like this: 17911: Defective rear light

So it's better to send a ticket on the Hex-helpdesc.
