Resetting Service Indicator

Good morning

I like to set my service reminder many miles and ideally years ahead as I won’t forget to service the bike and don’t want the reminder to come up during a big trip.

I did the updates yesterday and everything was fine, I ran the auto scan and have no problems at all except that I wasn’t able to put in some new custom dates and mileage for the next service reminder.

Does anybody else have this problem? Thank you

Does the option come up, what exactly happens when you try to put in a distance/date, what model is your bike?

Hi - a box appears giving you the option to set custom mileage and date but when you
Click it - nothing happens

It’s a 1200GS

Thanks for the details, could you please ensure that you are on the latest version of the software/firmware by downloading either the GS-911 Diagnostics app (Windows) or WiFi utility (Mac) below:

Once installed, check for updates and then attempt the service reminder reset.

I've downloaded the program to my new MacBook and managed to reset the service with no problem. I was using an older pc before in the garage.
