Hi there, I'm new to the gs-911 and I am trying to add the BMW DWA alarm module to my 2022 S1000RR.  I am able to use the gs-911 to make settings adjustments to the alarm, and the alarm seems to be working fine.  I am afraid I just don't see how to get the alarm to show up under vehicle settings in the TFT dash.

Any help there would be greatly appreciated!

did you perform the retrofit from the top level menu on the gs911?  I had a similar issue where I activated the specific module settings on my XR which seemed to partially activate it (it would beep 3 times instead of 2 upon arming).  turns out I didn't do the retrofit, which is an option specifically labeled as retrofit, which codes up the bike's delivery list to properly activate it.

it's under "service reminder/vehicle functions" and for my XR the menu looks like this:

clicking that alarm system button will let you run the retrofit, which will fully activate the alarm functions.

Thank you!  That was exactly what I needed to do!

A few months ago, while trying to activate the R1250 GS DWA alarm with GS911, I crashed the TFT screen. I went to the authorized service and there the TFT screen software was loaded again. Adding an alarm is a problem in itself. You should be careful.

I hope that kind of thing does't happen often!

So Now the alarm shows up in the tft/dash, but changing the settings there does not seem to have any affect on the alarm.  For example using the dash setting to dissable auto-arming has no effect.  Is there another step that needs to be done to get the dwa alarm to actually follow the settings in the dash?

Looks like one needs to enable the DWA controller to accept inputs from CAN, then it will listen to the Dash.
