Buying a used GS 911 Wifi

Greetings! 
I am new here so I apologize if this post is a repeat.
I can purchase a used GS 911 wifi with with round 10-pin connector.  This unit was purchased in 2019 and my bike is a '22 R18.  Mine has an OBD2 connector.  Would this GS 911wifi be able to connect with my bike despite its age if I buy an adaptor? if so, is the adaptor I need both females? And last,  Is it a problem buying a used GS911wifi?
