2015 RNine T fuel range
« on: June 10, 2024, 12:30:31 PM »
Hi

I recently bought a GS911 WiFi, and noticed the following.
"Range in reserve".

I haven't had a chance to test it, but currently, it is counting up from 0 when it hits reserve. Would it be possible to always have the option like on the older gen 800GS where you could see the distance to empty?

Thanks in advance

Quick update - this didn't do anything, it's still counting up, instead of showing range in reserve, unfortunately.

Try disabling it and see what happens. Sounds weird I know but stranger things have happened.

Good plan, thanks. I'll give it a try.

Huge thanks to the developers for adding the features I’ve requested not too long ago.

Report back:
Engine temp seems to be working.
Fuel range - not working. I’ve found out the R NineT’s only got a reserve switch in the tank, no float or fuel strip, so the tank is always full, or in reserve. Thus the display keeps counting up showing 400+ km range.
Alternate range in reserve - this seems to be working great! As soon as it hit reserve it started counting down, rather than up from 0 like it used to. Will test some more, but this should be a very useful feature.
Shift light - haven’t had a chance to test yet.

Thanks again.
