bike keeps shutting off for this code 0x3A1122 (Fuse activated for Ignition component protection, overload)

GS Jim

This is what I heard :

Disconnect all components specified below and delete the fault memory.
With all components disconnected, if the fault memory entry is
present: Check the wiring harness for insulation damage.
not present: Reconnect all components step by step until the fault is entered again.
Components of the component group 2:
Fuel injectors
Ignition coils
If installed:
Unfiltered-air flap controller

After rectifying the fault, reset the mixture preparation adaptation values.

Did a solution present itself? did you take Jim's advice?

Had this issue pop up on me this evening... following to see if issue was resolved

Initially, I cleared the code by disconnecting the battery after a coil failed. However, the issue resurfaced a few weeks later, likely due to a faulty O2 sensor. To resolve it, I disconnected all the coils and fuel injectors. Once I reconnected everything, the code cleared successfully, and the engine started without issue.

Problem solved... checked each coil pack individually until code popped up. Swapped coil pack, replugged all wires back cleared all codes and turned the bike on with no faults.
