BMW R18 Bagger aux lights TFT icon

On the bagger, even though the physical switch and wiring harness are there, the bike’s ECU/TFT doesn’t “know” it should monitor that circuit and display the icon.

What is the procedure for activating the AUX Light functionality and icon on the R18 Model B TFT?  I've tried several times to implement this functionality; however, I only see the presence of 12 Volts on the Aux Lights pre-wiring within the initial start up of the bike, which last for approximately 5 seconds.  The Aux Switch doesn't seem to function and I don't see the Aux Light icon on the TFT.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
