Error reading basic information

Hi All
I'm new to the forum, so sorry if this in the wrong place.
Currently I am working on an issue, but by reader is giving me a odd output, which I understand might indicate a systematic fault with bikes ECUs or memory.
I believe the points to note from the scan screen shots are:
the lack of "VIN" and Model values
and the "fault codes": Service or function not available

The more general consequence is that reader will either not see or read any of the ECUs or their faults.

Any suggestions would be appreciated
