Wifi help please

Hello people, could someone write a complete dummy guide to connecting my I phone to my hex code 911 and the wifi, I seem to just go round in circles, It works with a USB cable to my Mac but I am unable to connect my hex code and my I phone to the same wifi and access the service functions
I have watched the tutorial but it doesn't seem to help.

We have a lot of resources available on our website ranging from beginner to intermediate users. By far the easiest way to setup is using the WiFi utility with your GS-911 WiFi, this is available to download here:

Then, to fully understand all of the functions and use of the WiFi utility, please have a look at this illustration:

As shown in the top section of the overview, the USB connection shows the details of your GS-911 WiFi - if an IP address is displayed there, ensure that your phone is connected to the same network, which is displayed below the IP address, in the example, "Ninja", and you can use the mobile application to open the web app from there. Alternatively, you can also enter the IP address displayed in a browser's URL bar, or use the following web address (this will always be the same, so might be a nice option):
http://gs911_xxxx.local

The xxxx is replaced by the last 4 digits of your device.
