My attempt to convert "bar" to "psi".........!!
« on: November 29, 2020, 02:47:01 PM »
My 2016 R1200RS displays the pressure in bars on both the cluster and the satnav, rather than psi, (which is what I'd prefer).

In my futile attempts to change this using the wifi GS911, I have learnt that the Instrument Cluster is XKOMBI53

After further thread-reading on this forum, am I right in saying that this particular cluster, has not got any functionality as yet, on the GS911?

I presume this is where I would be able to convert bar to psi, should the functionality exist, or am I looking in the wrong place?

TIA

Phil

Hi Phil,

You're looking in the right place, and you are correct that custom configurations are not yet supported on the XKOMBI53 with the GS911.
This is certainly high on our backlog, but I am unfortunately not able to give an accurate timeline for availability.
I suspect we will only have a model with this cluster available for inhouse testing sometime in the new year.

Wilco, thankyou for your reply.

At least I know I'm going in the right direction, and I'm happy to wait.

Regards

Phil
