Denali sound Bomb not working with EZCAN correctly
« on: March 04, 2024, 02:07:11 AM »
So I have 2 EZCANS

1 powers 2 pairs of lights
the other
power my side BMW emblem markers taking only 3 slots. one is free.

My sound bomb is connect to my factory horn using the adapters provided with the kit. What I am noticing is that when i use the horn I am not getting any input. I mess around with the settings and have it on strobe with horn and i have to press the horn button several times before it magically sounds off.  I am wondering if it was because i was sitting idle? the the bike need to charge the sound bomb? I am not sure whats going on.

What am i missing. This was working perfectly a few weeks ago. The only change that happen with my bike was it got updated from the 2022V to the 2023V software.   (2022 R1250GSA)

any input where to look would help thanks!

Try connecting the Ezcan to the Accessory Manager software, deactivate the channel to which the horn is connected, and then set the same channel to “Horn” again.

I’ve done this a couple of times when an accessory channel started to behave oddly, and the problem was fixed. Good luck.

So i figured it out it was a cheap chinese

Relay. Water seeped in and rusted the connections
Replaced relay and worked again.
