Gen 1 USB use with LC

I have a Gen 1 USB device but it will not work with my 2017 R1200RT LC    If I purchase the Male OBD Adaptor Cable (10-pin to OBD-II) to use it through the OBDII port will it then work?

In a word - No

You need a GS-911 Wifi for the later LC models, and if a Euro 4 model, the OBD adapter cable .

Thanks  thats what I thought  but worth the question as £ 25.00 would have been much cheaper than buying a new one.  Looks like Ill have to bite the bullet and buy one  but I think it will be the  OBDII to USB one
