Hi There from Nashville Tennessee
« on: August 16, 2019, 01:08:03 AM »
I ride a 2015 R1200RT and I'm a proud new owner of a GS-911.  I live in Franklin Tennessee (right outside Nashville) very close to the Natchez Trace Parkway so I have great riding anytime I wish.

I have yet to do an exhaustive search on the forum but is there a master list of all the fault codes and their meanings?

Thanks so much and I look forward to learning from you fine forum members!

David

Welcome to the forum, the GS911 will give you the description of any fault codes

There is no master fault code list, fault codes are specific to individual models, it is only the regulatory mandated fault codes which may be common to multiple models & lead people to believe there are full lists for all vehicle make/models

http://bmwfault.codes/

That site is to decode emissions standard codes, not the bulk of error codes which are for non emissions related faults, the bikes have not been subjected to the standards for many years but the 2017 onward models are now being brought into the system. Note the engine types listed are the car engines

Wayne, thanks for that. The link was posted recently on this site, I have not needed to use it, just saved it for future reference.
