Yes if you learn to drive the GS911 it ;logs to internal SD card & so you get everything you select in parameters every time you ride until it is disconnected

Hi,

Not sure if you have already tried, but please check your battery terminals are tight and check what voltage your battery is providing.

The BMW inline fours are susceptible to low battery conditions and show all kinds of random faults.

Worth a try?

Kind regards,

Mark.

I got it sorted thanks to my fantastic GS911. I was getting an “implausible reading from side stand switch” message. The switch seemed fine so I traced the look and the wire to the switch was pinched behind the front sprocket cover. I removed some insulation and sure enough the wires were damaged. After repairing the insulation everything was and still is fine. So a complete repair for free!! I am somewhat cheesed off that BMW couldn’t find this when my trusty new GS-911WIFI made diagnosing so easy, but at least everything is fine now.

Good to hear you have it sorted, wiring round sprocket covers getting pinched is a problem other models like the 650 single suffer as well

Take the time to write up a complaint to BMW, make it explanatory & how much time & money it has cost you for a fault which was either caused during production or by maintenance, presumably at a Dealer, on a bike that young in years it should have been resolved free of charge
